Type of Tiles and Its Production Technology
Basically, tiles can be divided into two main categories, which are Ceramic Tiles and Porcelain Tiles. The ceramic tiles burned around 1,000 ? C, therefore, it also named as ¡§high-temperature tiles¡¨. Its water absorption rate is from 5% to 10%. The porcelain tiles also known as homogenous tiles. The burning temperature is over 1,300 ? C, its water absorption rate is lower than 0.5%, which comparably lower than the ceramic tiles. Also, the strength of the porcelain tiles is higher than the ceramic tile. It is, therefore, widely applied on different high quality decoration project.
High-Temperature Tiles
The production procedures of the high-temperature tiles can be discriminated into two burning processes. The first burning process produces the bottom layer of the tiles. The second burning process produces the final products after applied the glaze. The two processes proceeded individually, which make the surface glaze and pattern more precisely. Also, it can print different styles picture to the tiles and allow better decoration effect.
Italian RECARRO Roller Printing Technology
Roller Printing Technology, as known by the name, is used a rotary printing machine to apply the glaze on the bottom layer of the tiles, which mainly applied to produce marble simulation tiles. It makes the tiles with different grain and likes a natural material. In accordance with our statistics, it is very difficult to find the same pattern roller printing tiles in 10 thousands pieces from the same batch. The roller printing technology is adopted the new MULTI ROLL rotary printing machine, which made in Italy, the one of main features of the precedent MULTI ROLL rotary printing machine is that Multi-head machine can be made up that operates with two or more heads up to seven heads. It enables a kaleidoscope change of the grain and color to the tiles.
Homogenous Tiles (Porcelain Tiles)
The porcelain tile is a tile which is made by homo-material for the whole product. The porcelain tiles can be separated into non-glossy surface tile, rustic finishes tile, burned finishes tile and polished tile. The rustic finishes used dry application technology, like a natural materials, which can make different special effects. The surface texture of the burned tile is very roughly, with anti-slip function. The surface of polished tiles had a polishing procedure, with a glossy surface and high strength. Especially used for the living room and bedroom. The polished tiles normal can be divided into penetrating glaze printing, micro-powder, dreamy micro-powder, microlite micro-powder, all microlite and __. However, owning to the production of the polished tiles would be produced some micro-pore or micro-cracks on the surface of polished porcelain tiles, even the tea or darker color would be concealed inside the polished tiles. Therefore, the new research of ¡§Nanotechnology¡¨ can solve the captioned problem. The nano particles can fill up the micro-pore and micro-cracks on surface of polished porcelain tiles; it ensures the best stain resistance ability of polished tiles.
Dry Application
The Dry Application Technology is adopted a Color Dry Press System which is the new dry printing method, to decorate porcelain stoneware tiles before the press. The special feature of this decoration procedure lies in the fact that the glaze in micro-sized powder and flakes is placed directly on the bottom layer of the tile before it is pressed. The system is positioned between the powder loading grid and the tile ejector. As the grid of the carriage moves forward it discharges in the clay in the mould forming cavities to then return to its stand-by position. It's indeed during the return stroke that the Color Dry Press starts to work by dispensing the dry glaze through the minute holes of a laser-engraved laminate sheet. As the glaze settles on the body, it forms the image on the tile support which one pressed will be ready for the firing phase right away.
Color Dry Press can produce all the commercial formats and types of refined porcelain stoneware, e.g. Solid Colors, Granite, Speckled, Macro granite and Rustic finishes. While maintaining the original surface hardness and absorption values, the resulting product can be subjected to any type of additional process. Such as lapping & polishing those give a production with pleasant visual effects. Advent grade when it comes to producing types of refined porcelain stoneware to suit current market demands. The Dry Application Technology is also essential for the production of high quality designer articles.
MAIN FURTHER BENEFITS:
A LARGE VARITY OF IMAGES: If a number of modules are joint together you can combining various sharps with a number of colors thus obtaining an incredible variety of utmost quality, very near to natural stones or variations of the latter in terms of shades, colors and shapes according to market requirements;
Nanotechnology
The word is derived from the Greek ¡§nannos¡¨ meaning ¡§dwarf¡¨. The prefix ¡§nano¡¨ means ¡§one millionth¡¨. If, for example, a particle has the diameter of one nanometer, its ratio to a meter is the same as that of walnut to the earth. In other words: in a piece of metal a nanometer is roughly the length of four neighboring atoms. Nanotechnology is a generic term for many different types of analysis and processing of materials which share one thing in common: they measure between one and one hundred nanometers (a nanometer is one millionth of a meter). This is why nano-molecules or particles can only be seen under a high-resolution atomic force or electron microscope. In the nanometer area, the central point is the material surface, not the volume. For example: the ¡§lotus effect¡¨ can be used to produce self-cleaning surfaces. Nanotechnologically treated glaze are also used as protective coat finishes for the tiles.
MAIN FURTHER BENEFITS:
1. Higher Glossy - The glossiness of the normal polished tiles is around 50 to 75 degree, while the glossiness of our nanotechnology tile can reach 90 degree, it lodes like mirror.
Better Anti-Slip - Naturally someone will ask ¡§Will it be very slippery since its super glossy surface?¡¨ Actually, the protection coat on supper glossy tiles (nanotechnology tiles) is some kind hydrophile chemical material, which makes nanotechnology tiles with the same anti-slip performance as normal one, for some cases even better.
Better Stain Resistance and Durability ¡V The granule of protection coat is small as nano, it can be filled in the micro-pore and micro-cracks on surface of polished porcelain tiles, it ensures the best stain resistance ability of nanotechnology tiles. The strong binding energy of molecules of protection coat and the strong adhesive ability between coat and adobe, thus the extreme durability of protection coat is ensured.
Effective Sterilization, Particular Function ¡V The special production formula of protection coat presents particular function of nanotechnology tiles; any organic stains, SOX or NOX laid on the surface of nanotechnology tiles will be easily and naturally decompounded under sunshine, shows anti-bacteria and antisepsis function; for the other contamination, it can be cleared by water easily, shows its self clearance function, besides the super glossy tiles also have the physical functions of infrared ray, fluorescence, negative ion etc.
Environment Protection ¡V The nanotechnology is base on applying environment materials, no chemicals are required. It is transparent, achromaticity, scentless and innoxious, never affects the pattern of tile at all. This is good news not just for allergy sufferers, but also for the environment. |
