When choosing floor tile for living room and bedroom, a rather large size tile can increase the spatial feeling of the entire spaces. Due to the frequent use of floor tile, an easy cleaning tile would be the best choice. Moreover, the toughness of tile should also be considered to reduce the chance of damage. From all of the above reasons, Homo-porcelain tile would be the most appropriate solutions. As it is low water absorbability ( 0.5%), tough in nature, and no change of colour even damaged. Usually 24" x 24" tile is provided with either polished tile or matt surface tile.

Kitchen

Kitchen floor tile always get wet with water and oil, so Homo-porcelain with anti-slippery and anti-dust functions would be the most suitable. For wall tile, glazed wall tile with sharpness end is the best choose. This is because it can minimize gaps between tiles which can prevent dust accumulated inside the narrow gaps.

Bathroom

Floor tile of bathroom should be anti-slippery, and wall tile should be of glazed wall tile. Bathroom is usually divided into wet and dry areas. For wet area, matt surface glazed wall tile is more appropriate than glossy glazed wall tile as it is low water absorbability and would not making the surface rude and color change.

For color selection, dark colour may undergo heat conduction easily which may increase the indoor temperature; for light colour which will induce glazing and easily become dusty. Therefore beige and light grey colour would be the appropriate chooses.
